Excelente kit para empezar en el wet shaving, no hay nada que ofresca todo un kit (razor, 3 platos con diferente eficiencias, brocha, bowl jabon, navajas) por el precio en el que lo ofrecen y todo esta muy bien construido!
Been using a safety razor for about 20 years and this might be my favorite razor.
This razor is more than that. First of all the company is a real person who you can talk to through instagram, as I did, and speak to the actual people that run and operate the company. They are great people by the way. Now for this work of art. It's almost so nice you want to hang it on your wall. The set is so cool and the packaging doesn't disappoint. As for the shave... it works as well as it looks. I mean no other razor on the market compares. Do yourself a favor and got one of their razors. It's worth so much more than the money you spend.
It took 9 days to arrive, but I like this razor very much. I own 9 other razors- German, English, American, and Chinese. This is the best finished and smoothest one of them all. I have used the mildest setting so far and even though it feels too mild, it removes my medium beard very efficiently without irritation. I'll try the others later.
My 2nd oliworks razor the first one was aluminum. This one has a mirror finish that is slicker and it’s not much heavier than aluminum just a little. They both work great I got this one for the mirror finish and it’s great will last forever I’ve not used any of my other razors ever since I got the oliworks. I use all plates for different areas and different lengths of hair and they all work great just use no pressure and even the aggressive plate is not giving me razor burn love it.
This is a very nice well made razor set. I'm not new to wet shaving. Converted about two years ago. Have been shaving with a Rex Adjustable. I shave everyday for work because I enjoy shaving and like to have a smooth and clean look. I would typically shave with the Rex on it's most aggressive setting of 6 for my first pass then turn the setting **** down to 3 for my second pass. That will give me a BBS shave, but with a nick or two usually on my neck. Saw the ads for the Oliworks and thought I'd give this one a try. I can now shave daily with the three plate for both my first and second pass shaves and I get NO nicks or weepers and Oliworks has a much better shave feel for me. Less blade feel than the Rex. My skin feels smoother and I have less irritation than before. I'm sold on this brand. Not sure exactly what they've done with the blade angle or exposure, but it sure enough gives me the best wet shave among the razors I've tried. I started with a Henson, which my wife now uses and enjoys very much compared to the multi blade razors she was using. Then tried a Rockwell with the three plates. Had mixed results with that one. Finally tried two Rex brand razors, much better than anything I'd used previously until I tried Oliworks. This is seriously the best double edge razor I've used. I even like the FIloso blades they supplied. I'll probably be ordering more of those very soon. Nice job guys! This one is a winner! If you're on the fence about whether or not you should try one, just bite the bullet and place your order. You won't be disappointed! By the way, the Cerakote finish on this one is flawless. And it may contribute to the smoother shave feel I'm getting. All my other ones beside the Henson are stainless steel with no finish. I really like the color and the feel of the finish. Easy to clean as well!
Good for daily shaves to minimise irritation, requires about 3-4 passes though. Also recommended for newbies to wet shaving until they build up confidence with their technique.
Crazy good brush, the shorter handle is easier for me to work up a lather, gives me more control as its smaller I guess. Comes nicely boxed with date of manufacture and part number written on the box.
Although I bought the Stainless steel razor which is slightly darker than this red stand, It provides a nice contrast. However the real reason I bought this stand is that it has two compartments for the base plates, and it allows me to keep them together in one place for a quick Change.
I bought the stainless steel M3teorite -in Cherry red. I have used plates one an two so far the both gave me the smoothest shave I have ever gotten. Th e number two plate also gave me the closest shave I have gotten since barbers stopped giving shaves. It was also very quick because I didn't have to go over the areas as much as I did with my old double edge. I love the long handle because I have large hands and it is easier to hold than my old one. I am very happy that I got it, and wish that I would have had one of these back when I first started shaving in the 80's
I have tried several inexpensive safety razors, was sceptical about higher price (not really compared to cartridges!). Near perfect shave! I found the more aggressive (3 meteor tail) to be the closest shave.
I have used a bunch of razors. My last one was a Henson I really liked it but this one has the different plates so I can get a more aggressive shave if that’s what i want. I think this one will be my last razor I have to buy.
'Have only used it twice, and it's only the 3rd safety razor I've used, but it's easily the best of the bunch. Really well made + the ability to use a medium base after a week of growth or a gentle base after only a couple days. Super smart!
I got mine several weeks ago and I have never enjoyed shaving more. I love it and I actually look forward to shaving every day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this season shaver.
I'm really enjoying my new Oliworks Meteorite razor. I just love the old classic design it's well made feels good in the hand I do however have to get used to holding the razor at a certain angle I'm not that good at it yet it's only been about three shaves so far, I figure a few more shaves and I'll be comfortable with it by then. The one thing I wish they would add is a military green colored razor I think that would be awesome!
