Gorgeous razor for BBS shaves! First time to use an aluminum razor (I'm used to heavier razors like stainless steel, brass, zinc alloy). Even if the M3terorite is lighter, the familiar head shape and built-in easy-to-find 20° shave angle make for an intuitive shave, but you do have to apply some steady but gentle pressure to properly engage the blade (especially with the Mild plate). I've only tried the Mild and Medium plates -- I find that the Mild plate has ample efficiency for BBS (standard three passes) without the blade feel and perceived chatter on the Medium plate (which has a larger blade gap and blade exposure that's better for thicker/longer growth). I really like the metallic olive drab color. The machined handle offers a secure grip, even with soapy/wet fingers. I love the presentation box -- it gives a somewhat old world feel to the entire unboxing, while also providing secure storage at home or on trips. I did get a minor weeper on the philtrum of my upper lip (always a challenging spot for me), but other than that, it's a smooth, gentle yet efficient shave overall. Took about 2 weeks to arrive in the Philippines. Three plates for adaptability to get that BBS shave, fantastic finish & color, and awesome presentation -- great value for the price! 👍🏼

I have tried all 3 plates and very surprised how little blade feel there is and the numbers on paper made me think I would only be able to use the mild plate but I am able to use all the plates with no problems.
Just not sure if the mild or medium plate is my favorite.

I love this razor. It feels substantial, yet is easy to work with - even over the contours of my skull when shaving my head. I'm also able to shave more frequently than with my old multi-blade razor.
Great quality of machinery, great design, awesome packaging. I’m glad I ordered the full set of plates. My skin is still getting used to the mild plate and it may still take me a few more shaves to upgrade to the medium.
Perfect size and strong construction. Great design. Takes up minimal space but handles everything.
It is a fine sturdy razor, that looks like it will probably outlast me. It gets whiskers off in the first pass. I bought it because certain parts of my face are more sensitive than the rest of my face, so I use this Aluminum with the number one Plate for those areas, and I use my Stainless steel Red one, with either the number 2 or 3 plate for the rest of my face. I am extremely pleased with both of these razors. They are very well designed and quick to get used to. Using short careful strokes I haven't gotten a nick from either model using any any of the plates. I look forward to my shaving experiences, instead of dreading it. Keep up the good work!
Greatest razor and brush combo ever! Razor is top quality and brush is built like a tank but surprisingly soft. Perfect for a beginner or veteran shaver. I put all of my other equipment away and now this is all I need. Will be ordering bowl and badger brush to complete the collection.

I’ve been an old school shaver for the last 15+ years and have owned several double edge safety razors during that time. This one ranks right at the top! I love the versatility and options built into this razor. The razor stand is very cool. The silvertip badger brush is also among the very finest I’ve ever used. Great products!!!

Bought the Meteorite in blue. Love the design and the colour. I like the fact you get three plates to adjust the aggressiveness of the shave. Feels light in the hand, though heavier than expected. My usual razor is an Edwin Jagger DE89L, which I love, but this has now become my favourite razor. First shave was with the medium plate and the provided Filoso blade on 1 week of growth and it took it off without any problems - no tugging or anything, just a clean shave. Two passes gave me the smoothest shave that I can remember. My neck is particularly sensitive, but only a little burn afterwards with this razor, which is a big improvement over other razors I've used. Really happy with the razor.
After 10 shaves I can honestly say all your claims are true. I thought my Mercury 34C would be my last razor, but your razor beats it no contest. Not one nick, even using a Feather blade. I highly recommend your razor.
When I first bought my meteorite stainless razor, I only ordered it with the medium aggression plate. But it was a little more aggressive than I wanted. So I ordered the mild plate and it shaves smooth and efficient for me and no razor burn. Very happy with this razor with the mild aggression plate.

The Meteorite Stainless Steel Razor is now one of my favorite razor's, I highly recommend this company. Plus the fact it made right here in the USA makes it even better for me.
