I was on the fence about getting the Henson platinum razor I have all 3 of their mild medium and aggressive aluminum razors they are very good razors. I’m on my third shave with y’all’s razor I’m using a Personna Platinum blade using the number 2 plate and I’ll have to say it is the best DE razor I’ve ever used. In the future my plan is to purchase the titanium version of y’all’s razor. Besides the Henson razors I have a pretty big collection of DE and single edge razors. So I’m comparing y’all’s razor to a lot of other razors I own. I hope y’all stay in business for many decades thanks for making such a great product. Best Regards
Excellent craftmanship and great feel in hand. Nice close shave and love the three different shave heads to adjust the aggressiveness of the shave. Highly recommend.

Did a head shave yesterday using the razor with plate #2 and astra green blade. it was one of the smoothest efficient razor that I owned. it is beautifully machined and built like a tank. Today. I switched to the plate #3, again, with a comfortable smooth and efficient shave. Love it!
I’m using the mild setting and the long handle and I’m very pleased. The blade angle must be right on. I’ve retired my Merkur 34C. Only regret is not ordering the stainless but the weight of the Aluminum is perfect. Excellent, solid razor made here, at a realistic price.

I totally love it! The handle is fantastic. The construction is great. I did notice on the top cap one edge is “toothy” and the opposite edge is smooth. Not sure if the machine was slightly out of alignment. The blade-clamping is spot on.I get a smooth shave no matter what blade that I use. I’ve put Feather blades in it with no problems. I would recommend OliWorks to anyone, Newbie or veteran. The presentation box was “out of this world “!!
Well I have gone down the rabbit hole and have about 30 different razors from brand name razors. Stainless steel ones, Aluminum, brass, zink alloy. I now seem to favor Aluminum razors including the M3teroite Aluminum razor. This is now my go to razor. I used the least aggressive one for a week and got great bbs shaves without nicks, cuts or irritation. Now I'm using the second most aggressive plate and experiencing the same bbs shaves with only two passes. The grip is great, the looks are great, the workmanship is top notch. I think I may have ended going down the rabbit hole, I don't need to this razor is superb!

I’ve shaved with the oliworks razor four times. I’ve used to different blades and it has work very well. I have a Henson and a Muhle r89. I would put this up there with the Muhle which is my favorite razor. Let me shave a few more times and it may become my favorite razor.

My search is over. I'm an aviation maintenance officer and test pilot by trade (retired). I like precision. A lot. I found it. I could write a full treatment of the process from design, materials selection, process, result, etc... Same conclusion would still be reached. No product on the planet touches this one. Not one.
Well, maybe one, I have not tested it yet. This one... in titanium! I would also like the aluminum, long handle for use in mix-n-match on days I'm bored and want to experiment with specialized combos.
Some day, I'll expound on the many and varied philosophical reasons they have now earned my business and my word here. Today, is about performance. If I do my part, this razor delivers a shave that truly rivals "complete lack of beard" for smooth.
Best blade holder I have ever seen or used; made here in my country by my countrymen. I can get behind that. If they sell each of us one, they can retire their grandchildren to be full-time praisers of the God who made the USA possible. I'll help.

The bowl is very nice and it stays warm if you soak it in hot water.
The brush handle is very nice with good weight and the grip is great.
I went for the natural badger hair knot. It took some washing to get the stink out. Another thing was the knot came out of the handle. It looked like it didn't have enough adhesive. I cleaned it up and used some g
ood epoxy to seat it back into the handle. Like brand new again.
Overall I really like the set.
I recommend that you review your choice of glue.
Used it for the first time yesterday it glides nicely could be a little heavier. But smooth shave looking forward to trying it again and see if i get the same results
