How do I use my razor?
After placing a blade between the top cap and the tray baseplate, screw the handle into the cap's thread and tighten before using!
Ensure the bottom crown of the razor is properly secured, you can then adjust the middle crown of the razor to whatever setting meets your preference!
Shaving cream is not needed for this wet shave but we feel every person should try it at least once to see if it's for them. With that said, no shaving cream? no problem, use warm water and experience a seamless shave
You do not need any product when cleaning your razor. We have manufactured water channels to the underside of the razor for water and hair to easily flow and be cleaned from the razor.
How do I maintain my razor?
The best way to take care of your razor is by rinsing it off after each use. Loosen the handle slightly so the blade is no longer bending and store the razor where it won't get wet.
Ensuring the quality of your shave is key, so if you're unsure whether your current blade is still sharp, get a new one! Each blade should last around 5 full shaves so installing a new one should not be a rare task!
When you take apart the razor to install a new blade, go ahead and give the indivual parts a good clean in their hard to reach places. You can use water or the hand soap in your bathroom!

Oliworks and Razor Emporium would like to clear the air regarding their former business relationship. In 2017, Oliworks’ machine shop, MPC Machines, was approached by Razor Emporium to make a double-edge safety razor based on an earlier prototype and a plan to improve the obscure Gibbs razor. The companies worked together on a design that became the Rex Ambassador, until parting ways in 2018. Since Oliworks launched the OliBlade, customers and the shaving community have inquired about the similarities of the OliBlade to the Rex Ambassador. In the interest of consumers, Oliworks discontinued the OliBlade and now offers a product that is differentiable from the Rex Ambassador. Both companies will continue to make razors and serve their trusted users.
