STOP PAYING THE CARTRIDGE TAX

Gillette figured out they could charge you $4–6 per cartridge because you didn't have a better option. You do now.

Multi-blade cartridge vs single blade safety razor comparison

ONE BLADE. ZERO TUGGING.

Here's what Gillette won't tell you: five blades don't give you a better shave. They give you five passes of friction across your skin—every single stroke.

That's why you're still getting razor burn. That's why you're still getting ingrown hairs.

The M3teorite uses one blade. Held rigid. At the exact angle it needs to cut hair cleanly without scraping skin.

"The single blade of a safety razor cuts the hair cleanly without tugging or pulling, resulting in a closer shave with significantly less irritation."

— The Razor Company

Less blades. Less irritation. Better shave. It's not complicated.

"BUT ISN'T SAFETY RAZOR SHAVING COMPLICATED?"

That's what we thought too. Turns out, it's easier than the marketing from Big Razor wants you to believe.

The M3teorite's mild plate has a blade gap nearly identical to cartridge razors. The head design puts the blade at the correct angle automatically. And it weighs ~85 grams—the extra weight lets the blade do the work, so you apply less pressure than you would with a cartridge razor.

If you can shave with a Gillette, you can shave with this. Except you'll actually enjoy it.

A FAMILY SHOP IN THE ARIZONA DESERT

OliWorks isn't a brand cooked up by a marketing team. It's four people in Mesa, Arizona who got tired of watching guys overpay for razors that don't work.

We've been running CNC machines for over 20 years—making parts for industries where precision actually matters. Medical. Aerospace. Defense.

In 2020, we asked ourselves: what if we applied that same precision to something people actually use every day?

The M3teorite is the answer.

Every razor is machined in our shop. Inspected by hand. Packed by the same people who made it.

When you buy from OliWorks, you're not buying from a corporation. You're buying from a family that puts their name on every box.

DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

Here's what actual shavers are saying.

"I've tried almost a dozen safety razors over the years. The M3teorite gives me the closest shave with the least irritation of any of them. And the three plates actually let me customize based on my skin that day."

COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before making the switch.

Not at all. Most people get the hang of it in 2-3 shaves. The M3teorite's mild plate is specifically designed for beginners—it's extremely forgiving while still giving you a close shave. Start with short, light strokes and let the weight of the razor do the work.

The M3teorite is designed to minimize nicks and cuts. Our mild plate exposes very little blade, making it nearly impossible to cut yourself with normal use. Most users report fewer nicks than with cartridge razors, plus zero razor burn.

Both are quality razors, but the M3teorite has three interchangeable base plate options (Mild, Medium, Aggressive) so you can customize your shave. We also include a sliding travel case, and are made in Arizona, not overseas.

Any standard double-edge blade works. We include 5 blades to get you started. Popular choices include Filoso, Astra Superior Platinum, Feather (very sharp), and Derby. A 100-pack costs about $10 and lasts most people over a year.

Most people change blades every 5-7 shaves, though this varies based on hair type and blade choice. You'll know it's time when the blade starts to tug rather than glide. At ~10¢ per blade, don't hesitate to swap it out.

Absolutely. Many customers use the M3teorite for head shaving—the mild plate is perfect for sensitive scalp skin. For body shaving, we recommend starting with the mild plate and working your way up as you get comfortable with the technique.

100 days, no questions asked. If you don't love it, send it back for a full refund. We're confident you'll never go back to cartridges.

It won't—it's machined from solid 304 stainless steel. But if somehow it does, our lifetime warranty has you covered. We'll repair or replace it free of charge, forever. This is the last razor you'll ever need to buy.

Best Made, most Perfect Shaving DE Razor I have ever used, period.

I have been using DE razors for quite a few years and my theory is to use a mild razor with a good sharp blade since I shave daily. I would rather get to a baby smooth shave slowly rather than scrape my face raw with an aggressive razor. I have used Mule and later Henson AL13 mild. The Henson is well made and mild but I think the 30 degree angle forced by the razor design is too steep leaving a small sweet spot that cuts beard but still can be rough in spots. The 20 degree angle yo use with the standard round head allows you to feel the sweet spot much better and the angle allows blade to cut better with audible feedback, closer pass with less irritation with your mild plate. The medium cuts the same and I use for a little longer lasting close shave.
The razor is so well made it is truly a work of art and you should be proud to make such a precision quality product out of stainless steel. The elongated guides on the cap give exact even blade exposure on each side and the precise threading on the handle to cap connection are very precise. The polish of the 304 stainless on the cap, plates and handle rival the shine on other razors chrome plating on zamak or other material which will surely not last forever,
The knurling on the handle, balance of the razor and rounded corners of plates covering blade edge are outstanding. As you can tell I think your razor is very well made giving me super results with no irritation and should last a lifetime for sure!! It's great to see an American family owned company produce a product of this quality. Thank you.

I first saw the Oliworks Meteorite Razor on You Tube. The Modern masculine design, the non slip handle and different color options available caught my eye so after listening to the reviews I decided to buy my first Oliworks razor. I bought the aluminum in blue. I really enjoyed the shave that it gave me. I tried all three plates and although I dont have a heavy beard growth I Preferd the shave I got with the #3 plate. I have heard it called aggressive but I think that efficiant is a better discription. I have 30 razors in my shave Den that include Henson, Rockwell, Vikings Blade, Goodfellows and Alysworth to name a few and I found that I reach for my Meteorite as my favorite daily shaver most often. I liked it so much that I upgraded to the stainless Steel version. I find that I can get a very close and smooth shave with 2 passes intead of the 3 that I need with other razors in my collection. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and look forward to trying more Oliworks products in the future.

Wasn’t sure I made the right choice, glad I picked Oliworks. Very high quality and a great shave. I opted for the mild plate SS razor and I am very pleased. I am trying a few different blades and surprised what a difference it can make. No more expensive multi blade cartridges for me! It only took me til 55 what my Grandpa had been telling all along.

I came to the M3teorite (Cherry Cerakote stainless, Medium plate) after years of building out a kit that included a Henson AL13, a RazoRock Game Changer, and a Mühle R89, three razors with real reputations (the Henson alone has reportedly sold over 700,000 units) that just never worked for my face and skin. Using the M3teorite made we wish I'd skipped all three and started here.

The exception is the Rockwell 6C. That one was my actual workhorse for nearly two years before the M3teorite showed up, so this isn't a case of "nothing else ever worked." It's that the M3teorite beat the one razor that had already earned a real track record with me.

I deal with PFB (razor bumps from ingrown curly hair), which means most razors are either too mild to clear hair in one pass, forcing re-passes that trigger irritation, or aggressive enough to bite the second my angle isn't perfect. The Medium plate threads that needle. It's efficient enough for a clean one-pass shave when I'm in a hurry, and forgiving enough that an imperfect angle doesn't turn into a flare-up. I've run it with Wizamet, BIC, and a few others, all with good results, so this isn't a one-blade razor.

My one issue: a pinhead-sized spot on the handle collar where the Cerakote didn't take, just bare steel showing through. Purely cosmetic. I emailed OliWorks and it took about 3 days to hear back, which felt slow at the time, but the resolution was handled well and I walked away satisfied. Satisfied enough that I've since bought two more.

By day three of shaving, I was confident enough in this razor that I wanted a second one in rotation. Not as a hedge in case the first one let me down, but because I already knew this was the one I'd be reaching for every day going forward. It directly retired both Rockwells (the 6C and the T2) from daily use. I still keep a Rex Ambassador in the stable, but that one's for occasions; it demands more setup and attention than I want on a Tuesday. The M3teorite asks for none of that ceremony. Load it, adjust nothing, shave and enjoy.

The Meteorite Stainless Steel Razor is now one of my favorite razor's, I highly recommend this company. Plus the fact it made right here in the USA makes it even better for me.

The Oliworx Meteorite is an absolute standout razor. Beautifully engineered with a unique finish that really lives up to the name, it feels premium the moment you pick it up. The shave is smooth, efficient, and surprisingly comfortable, with excellent blade feel and control. It manages to be both refined and capable of mowing through heavy growth with ease. A surprisingly high quality finish and craftsmanship at this price and certainly an addition for anyone who appreciates high-end wet shaving gear.

The Oliworks M3teorite stainless adjustable definitely lived up to the hype on my first shave. It was comfortable, chatter free and provided what I’d rate as a nine out of ten performance. I’ll ding it one point because I couldn’t quite eliminate a couple of rough spots. Still, until I try it with a few other blades, the final evaluation is still a bit up in the air.

My only real nit is the length of the head-assembly threads. They’re just a little too long, making it a bit of a hassle when switching baseplates mid shave—which I did. Speaking of that, I did the first pass (WTG) with the medium plate to get a feel for the razor’s aggressiveness. It was the right choice. The medium (II) was efficient and mowed my stubble easily. I switched to the mild plate (I) for the XTG and ATG passes and got a very satisfying shave, notwithstanding the aforementioned rough patches, which were far from a deal breaker. I have a little hollow just under my chin that’s almost impossible to get BBS no matter what I’m shaving with so, mulligan granted.

Note: I went with a Personna Blue for this first shave because it’s my go-to blade and gave me a reliable baseline to judge performance. Again, nine out of ten. The M3teorite will definitely be in my regular rotation.

This is a very nice well made razor set. I'm not new to wet shaving. Converted about two years ago. Have been shaving with a Rex Adjustable. I shave everyday for work because I enjoy shaving and like to have a smooth and clean look. I would typically shave with the Rex on it's most aggressive setting of 6 for my first pass then turn the setting **** down to 3 for my second pass. That will give me a BBS shave, but with a nick or two usually on my neck. Saw the ads for the Oliworks and thought I'd give this one a try. I can now shave daily with the three plate for both my first and second pass shaves and I get NO nicks or weepers and Oliworks has a much better shave feel for me. Less blade feel than the Rex. My skin feels smoother and I have less irritation than before. I'm sold on this brand. Not sure exactly what they've done with the blade angle or exposure, but it sure enough gives me the best wet shave among the razors I've tried. I started with a Henson, which my wife now uses and enjoys very much compared to the multi blade razors she was using. Then tried a Rockwell with the three plates. Had mixed results with that one. Finally tried two Rex brand razors, much better than anything I'd used previously until I tried Oliworks. This is seriously the best double edge razor I've used. I even like the FIloso blades they supplied. I'll probably be ordering more of those very soon. Nice job guys! This one is a winner! If you're on the fence about whether or not you should try one, just bite the bullet and place your order. You won't be disappointed! By the way, the Cerakote finish on this one is flawless. And it may contribute to the smoother shave feel I'm getting. All my other ones beside the Henson are stainless steel with no finish. I really like the color and the feel of the finish. Easy to clean as well!

Believe. The. Hype.

This razor is unequivocally the best razor I've ever used!

I own several razors, including Merkurs, Muhles, Edwin Jaggers, Rockwells and even vintage Gillettes but the Oliworks Meteorite Stainless Steel absolutely blows them all away!

I have never had a such a smooth, close, comfortable shave, there is barely any blade feel! I've not had one nick or even any stinging from the alum block either!

The razor is extremely well made and the grip is on another level!

I purchased all 3 plates, but only ever needed to use the mild plate.

I cannot recommend the Meteorite highly enough, if you're thinking of getting one do not hesitate, this is the only razor you will ever need!
(It's that good!)

I have tried razors from every price range from $20-$400 and from a quality and performance perspective, the M3teorite-Stainless Steel Razor is the best price to quality ratio. I chose the blue color stainless steel with aggressive plate and it is awesome!

The construction of the razor is of super quality. Immediately after trying the aluminum version, I purchased this steel one. What can I tell you, I'm a razor collector (I own over 50 models), this one in particular is in the top 5 of razors I own. A big Bravo for OliWorks!

I was on the fence about getting the Henson platinum razor I have all 3 of their mild medium and aggressive aluminum razors they are very good razors. I’m on my third shave with y’all’s razor I’m using a Personna Platinum blade using the number 2 plate and I’ll have to say it is the best DE razor I’ve ever used. In the future my plan is to purchase the titanium version of y’all’s razor. Besides the Henson razors I have a pretty big collection of DE and single edge razors. So I’m comparing y’all’s razor to a lot of other razors I own. I hope y’all stay in business for many decades thanks for making such a great product. Best Regards

I’ve shaved with the oliworks razor four times. I’ve used to different blades and it has work very well. I have a Henson and a Muhle r89. I would put this up there with the Muhle which is my favorite razor. Let me shave a few more times and it may become my favorite razor.

My search is over. I'm an aviation maintenance officer and test pilot by trade (retired). I like precision. A lot. I found it. I could write a full treatment of the process from design, materials selection, process, result, etc... Same conclusion would still be reached. No product on the planet touches this one. Not one.

Well, maybe one, I have not tested it yet. This one... in titanium! I would also like the aluminum, long handle for use in mix-n-match on days I'm bored and want to experiment with specialized combos.

Some day, I'll expound on the many and varied philosophical reasons they have now earned my business and my word here. Today, is about performance. If I do my part, this razor delivers a shave that truly rivals "complete lack of beard" for smooth.

Best blade holder I have ever seen or used; made here in my country by my countrymen. I can get behind that. If they sell each of us one, they can retire their grandchildren to be full-time praisers of the God who made the USA possible. I'll help.

Be well, y'all! I'll be back for the rest when I can. Thank you! Don't let the dedication and attention to detail slip, ever. You have a winning path going here. Focus on doing right by every person you serve to the Glory of God alone, and you will be secure in all your days.

The fit and finish is perfect. Your fingers lock onit it easily even went wet, but the edges are not sharp. It is a little heavier than I expected, but that just makes it feel like a tank.
