Not at all. Most people get the hang of it in 2-3 shaves. The M3teorite's mild plate is specifically designed for beginners—it's extremely forgiving while still giving you a close shave. Start with short, light strokes and let the weight of the razor do the work.
The M3teorite is designed to minimize nicks and cuts. Our mild plate exposes very little blade, making it nearly impossible to cut yourself with normal use. Most users report fewer nicks than with cartridge razors, plus zero razor burn.
Both are quality razors, but the M3teorite includes three interchangeable base plates (Mild, Medium, Aggressive) so you can customize your shave. Henson sells each aggressiveness level as a separate razor. We also include a sliding travel case, and are made in Arizona, not overseas.
Any standard double-edge blade works. We include 5 blades to get you started. Popular choices include Filoso, Astra Superior Platinum, Feather (very sharp), and Derby. A 100-pack costs about $10 and lasts most people over a year.
Most people change blades every 5-7 shaves, though this varies based on hair type and blade choice. You'll know it's time when the blade starts to tug rather than glide. At ~10¢ per blade, don't hesitate to swap it out.
Absolutely. Many customers use the M3teorite for head shaving—the mild plate is perfect for sensitive scalp skin. For body shaving, we recommend starting with the mild plate and working your way up as you get comfortable with the technique.
We want you to love your OliWorks razor! If you're not completely satisfied, you can return it within 100 days of delivery for a refund. All razor returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which helps cover inspection, cleaning, and refinishing. Products that arrive defective or incorrect are handled separately at no additional cost.
It won't—it's machined from solid aerospace aluminum. But if somehow it does, our lifetime warranty has you covered. We'll repair or replace it free of charge, forever. This is the last razor you'll ever need to buy.

Excellent razor, great shave out of the box! I use Feather blades, and I found this razor comfortable to use and easy to handle. The handle is grippy which helps with soapy hands. The secondary benefit to the grippy handle is that I don’t need to grasp the razor tightly which yields a comfortable shave without nicks. I can easily find the most efficient shave angle, about 35 degrees for me. I don’t worry too much at all about finding the right angle, my thought is that if I’m getting a good close shave, then my angle is good! Perfect addition to my daily rotation! I would rate this razor as moderately aggressive with the most aggressive base plate attached. Well done OliWorks team!!!

I have a few titanium safety razors, already (Blackbird Ti, Timeless Razors Ti95, Timeless Razors Ti68) and several stainless steel razors (Rex Konsul, Tatara Muramasa, Rockwell T2 Stainless Steel, Blackbird SS Lite and a Yaqi Slant). However, the style of this particular razor caught my eye, as did the different interchangeable plates.
This is a high grade Titanium construction in a 3 piece design. The safety Bar and cap are smooth, which greatly reduce any blade feel. The size and weight make it nimble to navigate on the face with no effort. This is in the top 2 of my best looking razors. This is in the top 3 of my different razors for comfort, size, weight and design.

I have several titanium razors, but this one is absolutely the best one: even if titanium is much lighter than stainless steel or copper, the Met3orite is heavy enough to shave perfectly and it's really well bilance with a great grip. A masterpiece!!!

Very nice razor machine work looks great very nicely made.
I have tried all 3 plates and very surprised how little blade feel there is and the numbers on paper made me think I would only be able to use the mild plate but I am able to use all the plates with no problems.
Just not sure if the mild or medium plate is my favorite.

Great Razor. Very efficient yet smoothy at the same time. I mainly use the aggressive plate and switch it up to Medium plate for daily shaving so the extra plate options are very nice for what kind of shave you want to use. Highly recommend.

My 2nd oliworks razor the first one was aluminum. This one has a mirror finish that is slicker and it’s not much heavier than aluminum just a little. They both work great I got this one for the mirror finish and it’s great will last forever I’ve not used any of my other razors ever since I got the oliworks. I use all plates for different areas and different lengths of hair and they all work great just use no pressure and even the aggressive plate is not giving me razor burn love it.

first experience with a safety razor, definitely a different experience that shaving with a cartridge. takes some getting used to but I love it. got the titanium version and it looks great. look forward to many years with this razor!

I just did my first shave with my new razor, and achieved a BBS shave! I wasn’t sure about the Filoso blade, but it was smooth and efficient. Of course, the razor itself is gorgeous - a real work of art. I look forward to many more great shaves.

I absolutely love this razor. I own and have owned almost every titanium razir out there and this is the first razor i have used 14 straight days. I literally cant stop using it and i havent even used the aggresive plate yet. Second plate is my gi to but i have used the first plate severla times and had great shaves. The weight is perfect for me and it feeks great in the hand. Absolutely phenomenal razor!!!
